The two seconds that decide the habit

A habit prompt is answered in the two seconds after it arrives - or lost to the unlock, the app hunt, the scroll. The GrowthArc watch app exists for exactly those two seconds: raise wrist, see the thing, tap done.

Ships with the client iOS app on every plan. No extra cost.

A day, on a wrist

Six glances. Scroll through them.

The watch on the left is Sam’s. Every screen you’ll see is the real app - built for arm’s length, gloves, and the two seconds you actually have.

The list, at arm’s length

Three habits with their pictures, one tap each. The run is already ticked - logged mid-cooldown without a phone leaving a pocket. Streaks in view, because the number is the story.

7:40 am · Readings

A weigh-in in fifteen seconds

Steppers sized for fingers, a gold check to log. Scales are ten dots; yes/no is two buttons. Photos hand off to the phone’s camera in one press - because no Apple Watch has one, and pretending is how watch apps die.

9:12 pm · The comet

Your nudge doesn’t queue. It arrives.

A coach’s nudge streaks onto the face and opens: her photo, her words, one button. Only a human gets that entrance - the machine never takes the screen. That’s a design principle, not a setting.

How nudges are built →
9:13 pm · The sky

The day as a night sky

Every habit a hand-painted star over a field of dust; the journey riding the gold arc across the top. Due-now breathes and burns brightest. The guide line at the bottom always says what to do next.

9:14 pm · Kept

Tap a star. Complete it. Watch it fold.

The star comes forward with its detail and a milestone nudge, one tap completes it, the light ripples out - and it settles home as a quiet green point with its tick. Same write as any other completion.

10:00 pm · The ledger

One sentence about the day

On screen, and - if you like - read aloud once each evening. A day that gets named gets remembered. One tap mutes, and it stays muted.

The whole budget

2s

Two seconds is how long a raised wrist gets before it drops. Every screen above was designed backwards from that number - which is why clients actually use it, and why a watch tap counts exactly like a tick on the phone.

Honest engineering

Designed for what a watch really is

These are constraints we designed with, not around - because pretending is how watch apps end up unused.

Trust

No login on the wrist

The watch mirrors the phone. No second password, no second session to expire mid-workout, nothing to leak.

Handoff

No camera? No pretending

Photo readings hand off to the phone with one press - a notification opens the camera exactly where you need it.

Input

Steppers, not the crown

watchOS doesn’t let apps read crown turns for input, so numbers use honest steppers that always work.

Sync

Taps are never lost

Out of range? Ticks queue and reconcile when the phone returns. A completion on the wrist is a completion.

Respect

Quiet by default

The only takeover is a human coach. Everything else waits its turn in the inbox with the coach’s face on it.

Accessibility

Spoken, optionally

Answers and the evening ledger can speak aloud; the assistant listens when you hold its orb. One tap mutes.

Questions

Watch questions

Do my clients need an Apple Watch to use GrowthArc?
No. Everything works phone-first on iOS, Android and web. The watch makes logging two seconds instead of twenty.
Which watches are supported?
Apple Watch running a current watchOS, paired to an iPhone with the GrowthArc client app installed. The watch app installs with the phone app - nothing separate to buy.
Does the coach need a watch too?
No. Coaches work on the web and the coach iOS app; the watch is the client’s instrument.
Is there a cost for the watch app?
None - it ships inside the client app on every plan.
